Healing does not happen in isolation. It unfolds in relationship, in community, and within the systems that shape our lives. So many of us move through the world carrying stories and experiences that feel heavy, complex, or unseen. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, tending to grief, exploring questions of belonging and identity, or feeling the quiet exhaustion of existing in systems and spaces that don’t always feel safe, you deserve a space where you can breathe. Therapy can be that space.

My Background

My path to this work has always been guided by questions of belonging: who gets to feel it, who is denied it, and how we find our way back to it. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and I’m currently completing my doctoral degree in social work, where my research focuses on belonging, racialization, and social inclusion for migrant youth. I also earned a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, focusing on ritual and trauma theory. This training equips me to support both spiritually grounded healing and recovery from religious trauma.

For over fifteen years I have worked in community-based organizations and higher education settings, accompanying individuals and communities navigating systematic and institutional harm, intergenerational trauma, life transitions, grief and the complexities of racialized and diasporic identities. My practice is grounded in cultural responsiveness, relational depth, and systemic awareness.

My Approach

My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based and is guided by systems-informed, and attachment-focused frameworks. Together, we can address immediate concerns – such as anxiety, grief, or relational pain – while also exploring the wider social and structural forces that influence your experience. I integrate mind–body awareness into my practice and I am currently training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), supporting a nervous system–attuned approach that honors the body’s wisdom alongside your story.

I see therapy as a collaborative and relational process. You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you – offering presence, curiosity and tools, as you make meaning of your experiences and build capacity in your day to day life.

If you’re ready to begin — or even just curious about what therapy might look like for you — I welcome the opportunity to connect. Please reach out to schedule a consultation so we can see if working together feels like a good fit. I would be honored to hold space and support you in your choice to care for yourself.
