Welcome to counseling! It’s really hard to be a human sometimes. Life can be messy. I believe we all have the capacity for growth and creating lasting change. My job is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to help you tap into your own wisdom and strength.

My Background

I am a mother, a partner, an artist, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington state. I am a native Seattleite and nature enthusiast who enjoys yoga and outdoor adventures. Along with a background in art and early childhood education, I gained a whole lot of life experience before becoming a counselor. As a child who grew up in a big, messy family with challenging dynamics, unraveling the threads connecting my early life to my grown-up struggles sparked a deep thirst for knowledge and self-discovery. This led to my return to school in 2021, to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University.

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of therapy because it has played an integral role in my own life, contributing fundamentally to my growth and wellbeing. We just don’t know what we don’t know, until we learn it. I am passionate about bringing that learning to others and helping people become the best version of themselves.

My Approach

In my therapy practice, I offer warmth, presence, and validation, without judgment, in conversational style sessions. I use an integrative approach, pulling from various therapeutic frameworks to best suit the unique needs of each individual. This is a collaborative process where we work together towards meeting your goals. I am here to empower you and facilitate growth through unconditional positive regard, sensitivity, education, and support.

I have worked with adults and teens of all ages, from many different backgrounds and cultures, often supporting clients with bi-cultural identities and acculturation-related stress. Other areas of focus for treatment include: anxiety, depression, women’s issues, self-confidence, relationship challenges and boundaries, self-identity, life transitions, and complex trauma.

Therapy often leads to a reduction in feelings of helplessness or distress, and can have significant benefits, such as: increased self-awareness, personal insight, building coping skills and strategies to better manage stress and resolve problems, improved self-worth, and greater satisfaction in interpersonal relationships. You deserve to thrive! Contact me for personalized support.
