Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood or like you’ve had to figure things out on your own. I believe healing happens in the context of a safe, authentic relationship, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and genuinely supported.

Background

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Puget Sound. I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I have over 3 years of experience supporting clients and families who are navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, neurodivergence, and gender identity, as well as other concerns. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and strive to create a space where every person’s story is heard and valued.

I’m passionate about making therapy feel approachable and accessible, especially for anyone who may feel unsure or hesitant about reaching out. I also bring my love of art, creativity, and nature into my work, helping clients explore their strengths, build confidence, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel meaningful.

Approach

My work is grounded in a person-centered, relational approach, which means I see you as the expert in your own life and we work together to understand your experiences and goals. I take a trauma-informed approach and draw on evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, ERP (for OCD), and EMDR. I also incorporate mindfulness and creative tools when helpful, tailoring therapy to fit your needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.

You don’t have to navigate things alone. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I’m here to support you in making sense of your experiences and moving toward the life you want. Reaching out is the first step, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
