I am a social justice advocate, a social worker, and a therapist. I am passionate and committed to transforming lives and promoting greater self-esteem. I am resilient to factors within our communities and those abroad. I have worked 8+ years obtaining experience with families struggling to overcome addiction, poverty, mental health, and trauma by creating and implementing treatment plans. My experience is working with diverse and disadvantaged populations ranging from: child and family behavioral health to women in domestic violence situations to immigrants seeking to overcome barriers with employment and to helping members of the GLTBQ community maneuver within the systems.
I graduated with a MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in 2011. Majoring in Psychology at Saint martin’s University, graduating in 2006. Then obtaining my Marriage and Family license in 2017.
I have obtained a lot of experience in social work, child and family therapy, crisis triage consultations, and by advocating for domestic violence victims. I approach clients with Relational Therapy, and Bibliotherapy with a trauma informed lens.
Currently serving ages 13+ with a focus on individual youth. With my clients I am committed to service that is clear, honest, and always respectful.
