I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2019, where I focused primarily on mental health stigma and expressive arts models. In 2018, I completed an intensive six-month Life Coach Certification Program through Seattle Life Coach Training, accredited by the International Federation of Coaches.
As a therapist and coach, my work focuses heavily on solution-based approaches and identifying actionable steps. Your concerns may feel insurmountable, but in our time together, I am dedicated to working alongside you to break down the barriers that feel in the way.
By working together, we help you build empowering stories about your capabilities and your ability to achieve what matters to you. Many people come to me feeling frustrated because past therapy felt like a lot of talking without real movement. I understand that experience, and it’s why I’m committed to working in a way that creates clarity, momentum, and change.
In our work together, we focus strongly on what’s happening in your life right now and where you want to go next. There is always room to talk about your past, especially when it helps us understand your patterns, your needs, and your reactions in the present. We don’t ignore your story; we use it in service of intentionally shaping a life of meaning, purpose, and joy.
My approach is highly collaborative, and together we help you identify what support feels like for you and how to advocate for that support, both in and out of our sessions. Together, we translate insight into action so that what you learn doesn’t stay in the room. It changes how you live. Moreover, my approach focuses on what is already going well in your life and amplifying that. Many people come to me because they are not feeling a sense of purpose and joy daily, and that is something we work on together to change.
As humans, we often get stuck in the same thoughts, emotions, and patterns day after day. As your therapist, and as someone with a coaching background, my role is to help you interrupt, challenge, and reshape those loops. My style is direct, supportive, and active. At times, I may challenge you to see yourself and your choices in new ways, because that’s how growth happens.
We don’t stay stuck in draining emotions, helplessness, or patterns that no longer serve you. Instead, we work to build your confidence in your own capacity to choose, act, and create a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and truly, authentically you.
