
I am a highly motivated board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. I have over 10 years of nursing experience. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2011. In 2017 I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing (APRN) degree from Clayton State University. In July 2021 I received my Post Masters PMHNP degree from Valdosta State University. I have been providing individualized quality psychiatric care consisting of comprehensive assessments, medication management, and individualized psychosocial therapy to clients suffering from numerous chronic conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and PTSD for the past 3 years. I have clinical experience working with clients with severe mental illnesses, such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders, and Bipolar Disorders.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach entails offering active communication, patient-center and holistic care. I am 100% dedicated in the delivery of quality care utilizing evidence-based practice. I believe in working closely with clients in helping them to achieve an optimal level of health and wellness. I believe communication is the key in any relationship, including the patient/provider relationship. I am a compassionate provider that makes sure my patients feel comfortable, safe, and secure during all treatment sessions.
My ultimate goal is to provide the highest level of patient care by creating a comfortable and supportive environment. I offer care to those of the ages 18-60 and take time to listen and understand your needs. I’ve been recognized for my resourcefulness, adaptability, self-motivation, and the ability to handle challenging situations. I have developed a passion caring for individuals with mental health illness when saw a need for others to live, choose life and dream again. I believe in the wellness and recovery approach for each individual to regain a meaningful life with medication and psychotherapy.
I truly understand the severe need for mental health treatment and living in a current time were going into an office physically can be scary or even unavailable.
